very useful i'll consider that

for the bumpers i realised that, it's not a big issue for me @ the moment cause i'm not that much
into offroad, if i'll get "deseased" i'll try to find solution

for the suspension, now this is something to worry about, Is it possible to come back with a spoiled one
from Anit or Newbie trip ??????????????
I'm very very picky on my cars, i hate mechanics to lay hands on it, it will never be back the same
they fix some they spoil many, once your their you'll keep on coming back :( :( :( :(

Ok,

The suspension is soft but is ok for ANIT and Newbie, I ran the stock suspension up to Advanced, I would seriously consider getting yours changed not just for the sand but also for the road, mine is so much better to drive on the road and you dont need to lift it as high as mine just firm it up a little. Try and limit the weight you carry in the back of the car when on trips to a minimum.
The bumpers are a bit of an issue, I suggest you remove as much of the lower plastics as you can i.e lower lip on front bumper and all the mudflaps (Trust me if you dont remove them you WILL rip them off).......

If you come on a trip with me I will show you how to protect them as best you can......

Like i said its a good car. loads of power , great tiptronic autobox

Andy... :D

Our normal meetingpoints

Post by desert_hawk »

Ok, it's very simple, we all have Internet since we are accessing the site, google maps is easy to find or google earth, put the coordinates above in them and plan your way before you leave home.
All marshals are helpful in case you are lost or took the wrong turn, just give them a call and the leader will help you.
But make sure of one thing, if you are not sure of your way, you need to head to the meeting point earlier than usual in case you didn't find your way. It's not you only in the trip, there are other members that we need to respect their punctuality as well, I usually don't wait for late comers ;)

It is very true, we should respect the timing, and my self always will be on time.

was just about to ask a similar question.

get motion-X GPS from the Appstore for you iphone. It is a complete offroad capable navigation software including support for all needed
GPS Formats.

Just take care to have your iphone not exposed all the time to direct sunlight as it will switch off if the temperature is too high.
