Saturday Intermediates in Sweihan 3/10/20

Intrepid Intermediates: Gabriel, Jithu, Rasvan, Chris and Mikkel.

Everyone arrived on time. Following our briefing convoy order was set with Gabriel as second lead followed by Jithu, Razvan and Chris, Mikkel as sweeper and Ajesh keeping things tidy at the back. We soon settled into a rhythm and started to practice vehicle control with longer and more angled slide sloping. Once confidence grew we lifted the pace and riding dune faces roller-coasted our way past Nagrah. On the homeward leg Ajesh took control of the convoy and the fun continued as he crafted a fine track back to the inflation point. After a total of 57km we reached our destination around 11:am.

Everyone drove very well, demonstrating good judgment and confidence throughout. Keep it up. A big thanks for the solid second leading and sweeping by Gabriel and Mikkel, and a special thanks to Ajesh for overall support and a great part lead.

Thank you for another excellent drive Michael, and thanks Ajesh for supporting.

For some reason I didn't feel as in control this time as previous trips, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Just need more practice in the FJ I think.
