Expert Drive - Ready for Take off

Post by isham66 »

My first lead as an expert for AD4x4.
We started our drive a little late due to the fog in the morning.

Lead - Isham66
Second Lead - Sai27
Sweeper & Support - Rene & Kevin
Hadi in the middle. (Since we had Marshal Kevin with us)
Unfortunately, Melvin could not join us due to technical issues with his car.

We started our drive from Gate 12 around 9am. Warmed up with the dunes in front, and then headed inwards to bigger and longer dunes where we could crest all the way and take drown footages. We had a lot of cresting and switching during the trip. A couple stucks and a few second trys but everyone drove well.

Thank you Kevin for the support and showing me how to perfect the cresting. I am always happy to learn from you guys.

Ended our trip around 11:30am, went and ate Mandi and joined Jumuah prayer, and then headed to Bu Tais to support Kevin’s intermediate drive.

What does Melvin drive?

It was a great trip. Isham did a great job leading for his first expert lead. It's really great to see how much everyone in the groups driving is improving. I was asked by Isham to give him advice for leading, but he did a really great job and I had little to tell him.

I think we only had one stuck. Rene was maybe missing Flaghunter so he decided to get stuck sidecresting. Other than that it was a nice trip that went well.

Great trip, Isham - good lead and really enjoyable pace. The small advance / expert groups are really good fun and a give opportunities to hone the skills cresting. All in all, an enjoyable morning and nice company.
