Earlybirds (Newbies) Bu Tais

Post by Ajesh »

It was a lovely morning with amazing weather and a great bunch of drivers.

Emdoc was supporting the trip and Asif and Jithu drove down to extend additional support. Thanks Guys.

We were supposed to be a convoy of 13 cars but due to 3 no shows, we were down to 10 cars . Sadly 5 cars were on waiting list and had the No shows cancelled/ called ahead, some of the waiting cars could have joined the trip.

Bu tais is a great area for all levels and provides a lot of challenges and avenues for some fun driving.

Most of the drivers in the convoy had 3 or 4 drives under their belt except 2 who were on their second trip.

After a detailed briefing and ensuring everyone had a radio, we started the drive.

We took a circuitous route and generally had a fair pace. The drivers showed good control and did well even as the level was increased gradually.

We had a couple of stucks and second tries which were easily managed by the support team.

Communication was good and we safely returned to the deflation point by 11 am.

Till next time...
