NEED YOUR ADVICE - Low Profile Tires
Hi Everybody,
I've joined 3 of your trips as a passanger with my freind "White Prado" and decided to start offroading. Thinking of joining immediatly with my "Range Rover Sport" car but a bit confused of its hight and the performance of "low profile tires" in desert.
May you advise please?

Welcome to the club as an active member and not only a passenger
If I were in your shoes, I will save the Rover for highway and city use and get myself a desert toy, for example Jeep Wrangler, SWB Nissan, Prado etc based on the budget and how far you plan to go on offroading.
The low profile tires on any 4x4 will give you hard time on soft sand as they are not meant for that.

And if you haven't seen Jeeping in Moab, you don't know what you're missing.
Never settle for less....

Before it was Nissan or Heeps... and now we have Rams...
You Heep drivers never learn. Bigger IS better. Plus you need us to pull you out of trouble and to be your refueling station in the middle of nowhere. Careful... those horns hurt...

Welcome to the club, and hope to see you as a driver shortly.
Now for the Range Rover, you can take it to the desert, ifyou have the money to fix it
I agree with my fellow members, buy your self a toy and enjoy the desert more ... I wouldn't recommend a Wranglr, you are driving Range Rover, and shifting to a Wrangler, you will hate yourself and hate us as well
