Trip Report Bu Tais Advance 4 May

8 Excellent drivers met at the Bu Tais Gate Deflation point 3:15 PM:

Marshal: tompa-bjorka (Thomas)
Expert: petro (Kevin)
Advance: Mira-M (Mira) , Desertdriver (Gerhardt), dsalas (David), Kamran143 (Kamran), Mr.Magoo (Rob) and Falcon_83(Mohammed).

After briefing, convoy set up with petro as 2nd lead, followed my Mira, dsalas, desertdriver, kamran143, Mr Magoo and Falcon_83 acting sweeper. After following the gatch for about 15 min, drive kicked off in direction East, following the dunes. This was a drive with lots of cresting in the bigger dunes, with zero problems, although the sand here and there was very very soft. All drivers showed to be highly skilled with good judgement, which makes it very easy to lead, thank you. Around 6:15PM we ended the drive and we headed out to the Sabkha and went back to deflation/inflation point.

Thanks to 2nd lead and sweeper, you had easy tasks today , not a single recovery needed.

Thanks Thomas for holding this trip. My sister loved it, and it turned it it was her only chance to drive while she was here.

This area was really awesome. It was a beautiful area with lots of fun, smooth crests to play on.
