Ive got most of the starter kit now except the flag.
How do you attach the flag to the car. Has anyone got a picture they can share, ideally for a Pajero?
The helpful guy at Ramy (sorry I forgot his name!) mentioned a magnetic holder that could work. Has anyone tried these and do they work well?
Thanks for any advice.

Hello Mike
The flag holder on my Pajero is fixed under the spare tyre - see picture .
It is a L-shaped flat iron bar with a sort of a bolted spring in which I insert the flag.
The L-shaped flat iron bar was installed by Best Line Garage in Dubai.
I bought the spring at Adventure HQ in Dubai.
The system is simple and pretty robust : I never lost my flag for the past 3 years!

I like this one. Thanks for the idea. Do you think this will hold a proper flag pole too?
Thx

I am using light weight fishing rod tied to the Handel but don't buy 3 points Handel that is useless due to the curve on car window.

Hey Dominoman,
I have been trying to find a way to mount the flag to my car, for some time now... Unfortunately, there are no "out of the box" solutions for a car like Tahoe LoL Although the suction thingy looks fine, I think that it would shatter the windows on my car.
I thought to make one on the tow hitch, but I was worried that it will bend and smash the rear window.
In the end all I needed was a 1.1 meter steel pipe (does not bend at all) and welding equipment.
1. File down the tow hitch ball to just fit a couple of inches into the steel pipe and weld it on.
2. Screw two nuts on the flag pole mount clip, insert it in the top of the steel pipe and weld.
3. Enjoy
Now I have a portable flag mount on my tow hitch that can be used in any car
P.S.
The only thing I missed is that I need to remove the hitch to open the trunk hahahahaha
