David - This is brilliant!

It is better than the books I have trolled through to get a rough idea on what I am doing or even why I am doing it. You answer all these questions. Maybe you need to publish :D.

I'd buy the book!!!

PowerPoint updated to v4 after Mr Mgoo (rob) pointed out that I had mixed minutes and degrees mixed up in the ready reckoning exercise.

Thanks Rob

Am I confused, or is the document link below to version 4 still giving the older version containing the mix up in the ready reckoning excercise?

Trying to prep for GPS 5.0 tomorrow!

Hi Randy,

I think its the right one.

In it I say each degree is about 110km.

The world's circumference is about 40,000 km which divided by 360 makes every degree about (latitude) about 111km.
