Tires

Post by AmaroK »

Hello,

Now after tinting my windows ,which turned out different than i thought, I'm on a scavenger hunt for tires. The tires on my Galloper are from around 1856, it is impossible to balance them out so the car kinda dances when i drive. I need some good advice for tires. And I still need to go to uni so my dad cant really afford Mickey Thompson tires.... If you have any gud/favorite tires u can recommend please post it and tell me where to get them^^ :)

Cheers,

Dunlop GrandTrek

As far as I know they work pretty well on and offroad, National Tyres in Musaffah should have them, not sure about the price about 300Dhs per corner as an estimate.
Another not bad tyre is the Michelin LTX Synchrone?, I can give more detail tomorrow when I get in the office, fitted a set on our work pick up which seems to work ok in the sand and off road. 285Dhs per tyre sticks in my mind.

Well i went to that Harakat shop and they asked for 650dhms....that was too much so i went to the small shops and got the cheap one for 100dhms. Its far away from perfect but its doing its job somehow^^. Then i got a sticker on my car that says Silly Walks 8)

265/70 R15 means your tire is 265 mm wide , the sidewall is 70%of 265mm high , and you have a 15 inch rim.

tire no make fitting.

Guys,

Hi I am a newbie to the 4x4 motoring world, I have a jeep cherokee 1998 sport, runing with BFG LT aggressive thread 275/31 x 10.50 R15. I am going to replace my tires shortly. I will be mostly on the road and will be 4x4ring sometimes, any recommendations ?

Budget : Between Dhs. 200 & 350.

Thanx

Puhh, 350 is a bit to less for the Pirelli Scorpion ATR 31" x 10.5 x 15. If you can put 400 per Tire, take them. I really can recommend them in this size, if you also want to go offroading. They are very good on sand and on the road too.

You can get them in the Pirelli Shop at the old Airportroad where all those used car Dealers are ( outbound Abu Dhabi ).
