you can add a fan , or can add a very good thing called engine oil cooler which i'm using.

the fan from what i know using the additional electrical fan can damage the computer, hmmm so you can change the blades only with better one.

its a part , it fits infront of the radiator from the outer side.
check it here:

i got it by the recomendation of an engineer in trading enterprises, it is very good for the heating problem and also good for the engine and gives the oil more life time.

Why would it damage the computer JEEP???

What if u connect it to a switch on the dash and selectively trigger it on/off as and when needed?

yah that can work , but why to bother with such thing while you can simply use the engine oil cooler which is not only good for the heating problem but also good for the engine and the oil used.

For info- I instaled a "push through" (2200 cfm) electric fan to my 92 yj wrangler. The A/C is more efficiant and the temp gauge hardly moves beyond 100DEG C when idling for a long time, and during low speed high rev driving under load conditions (desert driving). I opted for a on/off switch on the dash board that has its pros and cons. As a keen offroader you are always monitoring the Temp & Oil gauges, the switch will assist you keeping your Jeep cool. The contolable on/off function also prolongs the fans life as it only works when requierd. If the fan is correctly wired up(fuse and relay) the current draw is minimum and has no interferance to the ECU nor wil it cuase any damage. There are also the options to conect the electric fan directly to the A/C mode(switches on auto when A/C selected on) or the option of removing the conventional fan and replacing it with an electric fan (not recomended) that will also run automaticly via a temp rated switch. I think when making a dission on a electric fan, one has to be practical and view an electric fan as a "back up" for when you need it most!!!! If any futher information is requierd I will gladly assist.
