guys, looking for somewhere where I can get a boot made for the wrangler similar to the photos shown below. Any ideas? problem with soft top security, never anywhere to leave my lap top. Would probably get this made out of 3mm plate so that I can get bungie hooks on the top edges so that I can tie stuff on the top too. Any ideas?

Besttop have something I think called "add a trunk" it's for around US$90, looks very nice and neat. Check it in www.quadratec.com

Bestop do make one but it doesn't sit as high up as what I am looking for (copied from Olympic) and costs $99 plus shipping. Figure a quick release design like the one above could be made so can be taken in and out quickly, ideal for soft top when you need to store the laptop safely at the gas station! The Bestop one isn't high enough to store my laptop in the back, defeats the object of the exercise.

Also want to but bungie points so that I can safely stow kit above as well. maybe something for other jeep owners if I can get the design right. Thinking of snap catches or knobs to allow secure attachment but quick release.

I will give Icon a call and see how much they would charge to make something up but anywhere that could do this near Dubai would be a welcome suggestion. Will give the other suggestions a call anyway to see what they suggest...

try robbie's garage... they fabricated a better bash plate (thicker and more durable) than the one found on most wranglers..

it think if they can do that... they can do what you want as well ....

and i've seen their work, i'll provide you directions later.. just have to find kris's post somewhere...

Shkh Zayed road , interchange 3B , where Mercedes is , behind Mercedes is the Jeep Service & Parts , Honda , straight on is a sign with Truck&Bus Wash in yellow last time i was there , then there's a little gate , go inside that and it'll be the first warehouse on the right.
