Gents,

Wanted to thank you for your advice related to the modifications regarding the JK.
So I took the first step in modifying the Wrangler....by actually buying it. :D

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the Club.

My suggestion would be bring yourself to the desert and drive it as it is for now and see how you like it. Whilst you are out and about, see what mods everyone else has and decide if they are the ones for you or not, but honestly, right now, just enjoy your new purchase.

Hi guys,

This post is a bit old now and if we consider the new products released on the market since 2006 what would be the best configuration lift kit for a JKU?
I have been to both Motortech Abu Dhabi and Ramy4x4 Deira:
Motortech suggests ARB coil+ King shocks
Ramy 4x4 suggest Teraflex+ rough country for low budget or teraflex + Fox for a higher budget.

Knowing that I drive 10 days maximum a year into the desert (5 days circuit in dunes) and maybe a weekend per month camping on the beach. This is the place where I go to practice on driving in the sand, My JKU is in Tunisia (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSl6Q40TYlY) and I spend my life between Tunisia and UAE.

I would need a configuration that should be efficient in dunes but also confortable for every day use.

Cheers,

Thanks MOE for the info.

Could you suggest me a lift kit for my stock JKU. My tires are 255/75/R 17 Dunlop SP RG.

Thanks
