What's wrong with my Clutch?

My cltch is burnt again for the 2nd time in 2 months. Can any body tell me what's the problem?

You all know my driving, I never push my car to the max. or rev it high and i rarely use the 4WD-L.

Whenever I use my front locker, smell the clutch specially when I reverse. Is there any connection?

I asked an expert advice before, who told me that as long as I had my R&P upgraded, no need to use a heavy duty clutch so I have the stock one. Is this right?

Where can I quickly get a Heavy Duty clutch (If I need one?) Does Al Jallaf have it? Ramey Trading does not have it in stock (as usual) If I wait, I'd rather get it from Quadratec, it will be cheaper and faster.

Sorry to hear the clutch news Iguana, I can't comment or find any reason behind burning a clutch in a very short period....And I don't know why you don't need performance clutch if u have upgraded the R&P???????

Anyway, if u decide on centerforce performance clutch and you can't wait for shipping from the states, then you are left with Golden Motors in Sharjah....

Thanks Khaiwi. I called them it's onlt AED 1300. Al Jallaf is selling the stock one for AED 1,050 so difference is not that much. and in Quadratec it's 1,038 without shipping and taxes. So I think I will go for the Golden Motors one.

True, but check which model youe are getting, Centerforce I, II or dual friction...

Its the best for sure.

The moment I feel my clutch is on the way.... I will buy the centerforce dual friction and keep it ..

hmmmm tayeb me thinking now to get one , i remember 2 years ago i bought one , bas not sure it was centerforce II , or dual friction , bas it didn't last for long time , something like 6 months and it was gone so i had to get the stock one again, i don't know maybe it wasn't installed the right way or something

Clutch installation is a little bit tricky while alignment, so I personally prefer doing such work at the dealer.

Jeep, you are too fast. I called you around 10.30 to get it to me from Sharjah on your way to Abu Dhabi, and by 11.30 yoy gave me a confirmation that you already bought it.
