ARB Twin Compressor - Something has gone wrong

I bought an ARB twin compressor a couple of years ago, and it has been great. Very fast inflation. Last couple of months inflating has been taking much longer than before.
One of the o-rings in the quick connect coupler failed (I could hear the air leaking out) and I had to replace it (very hard to find as it is an odd size and shape, still, I found one at "Golden Seal", if you need an o-ring, they have everything).
Anyway, after replacing the o-ring, the quick connect sealed again perfectly.
When inflating my tyres yesterday, I noticed that it was still taking a very long time despite no leaks.
When I let the compressor run when it was not connected to the tyre the air flow was really weak and slow. The rpm on the compressor seemed normal and I could not hear any leaks anywhere. The car engine was running so it had sufficient power.
Any ideas why the pressure would be so weak?
It is still under warranty, so I am taking it back to ARB, but I would still like to know what the issue is.
Cheers, Al
