As per my experience

Its fine for the newbie level,

Intermediate try to get some other car

Advance completely no way to bring this car.

Its based on my own opinion, so dont consider it final word, enjoy the sand.

A lot of intermediate trips would cause the explorer to struggle I think and quite likely to break something, more challenging newbie trips might too. It's more of a sand tracks and camping 4x4 I guess although ANIT drives should be fine for some experience.

Good for newbies. I did myself but it is heavy and switching 4hi to 4lo was always a stuggle. Also the long wheelbase with lower ground clearance was a fun. Another issue is that it's modifications are costly and not readily available.
