If you are going off road al lot get the dual motor ARB. It is around 2500 or so installed. Or less if you want it in a box. The shop is in Mussafah. It save time, they are dependable and it is my third favorite thing I have for the truck.

Bush Ranger at ACE
you can get it for around 800 to 1000 with warranty.
I have it for more than 4 years & working perfectly.

In terms of sheer numbers, a very large number of intermediates and above use the single-piston, portable ARB-in-a-toolbox. 1300 dirhams, but lately available as a package deal WITH their 250 dirham ARB fast-deflator for free. You will probably also want the ARB inflation dial gauge with it, which is 150 or so.

That's not to say the Bush Ranger and the like aren't good compressors - but for only a couple of hundred difference (netting out the ARB deflator) I would have to pick the ARB.

The dual-piston ARBs are even faster, but the ones that are portable are rather heavier, as they have a small air tank built in for use with air powered tools and the like. For the difference of a minute per tyre, it wasn't worth it to me.

Not much to compare if you ask me, price-liter per minute-warranty
For me price generally indicates the warranty ;)

So generally it is really up to your budget.
One thing, you should pay attention to, if your tires has the pressure sensor valve thingy, go for the tougher compressor- not much tougher thou- , I have the ARB single portable - no complaints from the compressor, but noticed huge difference when I inflate the one tire I have without the sensor and this goes for when deflating also, which I'm planning to replace the valve s on the other tires whenever I have a chance. But overall by the time I finish my cigarette, job is done.

Bottom line, go per a set budget that includes the deflator, snatch, radio, shackles and other essentials if you still don't have it.

TJM had a nice package for AD4x4, you can look it up.

Good evening
for now i think u r not too sure about that much offloading ,
and maybe u have a lower budget , what ever reason , and this i my personel opinoin,
don't go for arb 2 motor, i have it with the tank as well , not worth any thing , i also have 1 single motor which is much batter.
and from ace is too pricy for now for u .
plz check out from dragen mart , thay have a reasonable good 1 for 275 ,
but plz make sure it is the red color 1. and also make sure it reads more than 62LPM.
don't buy any thing less . the higher the batter, for example 67 , 72 or even hight if u can find .
get the RED ONE

Keep in mind to compare air flow performance (lpm) of compressors related to pressure (psi). Some manufactures give air flow performance only at no load (0 psi). Important for inflation of tires is the air flow under pressure.

ARB CKMT (twin) 132 lpm @ 29 psi
ARB CKM 66 lpm @ 29 psi
Bushranger Supermax 59 lpm @ 30 psi (AED 900)
Bushranger Black Max. 40 lpm @ 30 psi (AED 700)
TJM 013TJMCOMP ~ 38 lpm @ 30 psi (43 lpm @ 20 psi, 36 lpm @ 35 psi)

Personally I am fine with the Black Max for 285/70 R17 tires.

sorry i did not read the whole post
but my strong advice is to get a minimum of 66 liters / minute pumping capacity

lower than that is a waste of money specially for big tires

if you are not regular offroader (weekly or so) you can go for the red camel compressor (single) from the dragon mart for around 275 AED, I used it for almost 1.5 years then it gave up with reasonable LPM
recently i installed on-board double compressor with tank from ARB and I love it 3500 AED with three years warrantee, reliable, fast and multi use.

Had the bushranger from ace and lasted me 4 years. Went dead last weekend. I have installed an ARB dual compressor yesterday and looking to test it this coming weekend. But from what I saw I think I made the right choice for what I want.
