I strongly suggest you get another diagnoses and quote from a second shop.

AEV not exactly the cheapest around! Get a second opinion as noted above. There are ways they can show you the issues to prove components such as ball joints are worn. Wiggling, shaking, play in steering etc. Get under the truck with the mechanic and go through the items one by one. Ball joints can cause death wobble so if worn definitely replace as a priority.

I managed to get away with just the steering stabilizer for AED 250 and the steering is perfectly fine now.
Used my linguistic skills with one of the mechanics and he advised me not to change anything else cuz it didn't need to and the stabilizer did the job fine eventually. Dodged the bullet for now at least.
