F150 squeaky/screechy rear suspension

Post by Nen82 »

Hello ladies and gentlemen, how is it going?

I would like to ask if someone have come accross this one. My Ford F150 is making a really annoying noise when the rear axel goes over a bump, when I accelerate/decelerate or simply, when I push the rear bumper up an down.

I am pretty sure is coming from the rear, but I am finding finding really difficult to tell apart if they are bushes, leaf springs or which part is it. The previous owner told me it was fine until he pressure wash it before selling it to me what leads me to think he removed the lube between those parts.

The car is not very old, 2012 and has 95k on the clock.

If anybody has suffered anything like that I would be very grateful if he/she could share the experience and if he/she knows how to fix it. The contact details of a reliable garage with experience on 4x4/suspension/leaf spring is also welcome.

The springs need re-gresased.

Common on the F150's, i know some of the other Raptor Owners have had the same issue after desert driving, or if it's been to the car wash and the jets have cleaned the grease out.
