Cooper AT3 P or LT

Hi guys,

I am thinking about getting the AT3 tires soon.
Found out that there is the P (passenger) and LT (Light Truck) ply rating available.

The LT is said to be much more durable but read read also that LT does not deflate very well.

Does any one have experience with both?

Loved the at3. Good grip on and off road. Deflate to 9 easily and not noisy on the road.

go for the P
the LT have harder side walls so it will tend to
dig and pop out, in fact it is the same story of the
DFGoodrich

now if you are driving a landcruiser or a patrol
you might consider the LT, definitely not if your
driving a Jeep or any other light truck

Abdeslam, mine are P and I deflate them to about 10 psi. Never got a pop-out when I am driving (this may be because I do not push the car hard...). In summary I am pleased with them and good on and off road. Good luck.

One side comment to this. If you buy cooper, you will need to make sure they are the genuine article. The only place we have found Cooper is in Sharjah and they may not be originals, but copies. also they are about AED200 per tyre more than equivalent and more readily available tyre. I have chosen the Geolander AT-S rather than cooper, i run these at 10psi with no issues, they have same grip and nouise levels and got them 265/75/17 for 550 each. and if i get a serious puncture i can find a replacement within an hour, Cooper is not as easy esp if you are in Abu Dhabi. Down side of yoko is the side wall is not as good as AT3 but better then BFG.
