hello guys,

do you think this is compatible with the wrangler 2006 :?: there is nothing on the site about compatible vehicles.

(bare with me a bit if the question sounds dumb) 8O

What do you mean by compatible? in a car audio all you need is the power and speaker connection unless you have a multifunction steering (Which I think is not available for Jeeps in UAE) ... So yes you can have it in your Wrangler it will fit .. (If you don't have a Multi Function Steering)

However, in my personal opinion, if you are planning to take your car offroad ... these compicated electronics will break after 2 trips because ofthe sand getting in it

I don't know much about car accessories, let alone electronic devices. What I meant is, will it fit in the same place as the original cd/radio :?:

Now I know what you mean ...

Well, the Wrangler have a special place for the radio / CD player, nothing fits there ..  But when you go to those guys in Salam Street (Abu Dhabi) they have a bracket that is fixed on the Radio / CD player place then you can install the after market device .. Same brackets are also available in quadratec

The head unit you are mentioned is very weak in off road conditions. the unit will not withstand the vibration or sand ingress.

I have installed JVC Exad unit so far can cope with both. This may be is the high and bit expensive end but it worth it.
