Hi,
I was going through different posts in the forum, and icant find anyone reviewing between the PRADO and the Nissan patrol safari.
I want to go for a new vehicle and a long lasting one for the road and the dunes.
Both are good vehicles onroad and offroad, price wise also both seems to be same, power wise, nissan has the upper hand with its 4.8l .
I dont know about the fuel consumption !.
..., hope some one in this forum can help me figure out which is better of the both...
Thanks ,
Razeem

Hi razeem, I haven't owned either but i think you'll find great reviews for both cars as capable on road and offroad vehicles, reliable, hold value well etc. For a new model with warranty I think the best choice could be whichever one you like the most and whose dealer has the best offer/package

Re: Prado or Nissan Patrol Safari
I owned them both and can recommend the Nissan Patrol all the way. Fuel consumption is on the high side with 22-25l on road, but the car is very solid and capable off road, while reasonably comfortable on road.
Toyota Prado is more comfortable and in my opinion has a very good engine / transmission. Front axle though is a bit week and replacement of upper / lower control arms doesn't come cheap.
Go for the previous models with less plastic bumper, fenders.
Drive them both and check out
