SideWall Puncture

Post by Qusaiborris »

Hey Guys ,

Whazaaaaaaaaaaap,
since I don't feel like buying a new Tyre now :? ...
I have a side wall puncture on my right rear wheel BFGoodrich. I patched it from inside for the first time but when I deflated later on the patch was removed >> obviously >> so I did the patching again but still the PSI is going down ( I think that guy didn't fix it properly since the first time worked fine until I deflated) ... so I heard that there is thermal patching ..don't know what they call it  might work where they put a rubber patch from inside and apply heat on it so it will be one peace with the tyre like what they do for big trailers tyres .... I heard in Khatim there was one shop that does it but i want to know if there is any shop in Musaffah that can do it for me....

thanks for your help and patience in advance.
Qusai
Peace and out

Dear Qusai

I am not sure about your enquiry. However, I suggest that you go ADNOC Stations where there is tire repair shop like AL Masaood (Bridgeston). They are professional I went one time and the Technician fixed the puncture perfectly with Special material.

Yeap, your tire is dead man, agree with the guys above, don't play with your life and get a new one, or I might see you in ER soon!

Have to agree, new tyre is the only way. if that repair fails on the highway, think about what it will cost you then, and it unfortunately may not just be the car. I have seen first hand what happens if a slightly soft or damaged tyre goes at 120, just ask Grizzly and CodeRed. it is not a good idea.
