Hi All,

Here are questions which only a person like me who has sub-zero knowledge in mechanics would ask.

1) how much should I budget for an axel reinforcement

2) where in Dubai can this be done (Ramy is one answer)

3) if one day I need to change the existing lift will I need to also change the axel reinforcement

Thanks to all who will contribute and bring my knowledge up closer to zero

Buy a Fortuner and your problems will be solved. Fortuners don't break, they only bruise slightly.

Just note that I had mine done last year in AD and it caused my JK to fail the re-registration and took a lot of backward and forewards to get it sorted out.

I did mine via WM in AD.

I cant remember as it was done on insurance due to a small accident, I added it all in together with some other works. Ring up Tariq at WM and see what he quotes you.

Not really tested it yet but 2850 inc fitting. Mebar is another place in Dubai but plan on 4000+. Ramy recommended by Akash at TE in Festival City where I bought the car from - he has had his done for a while and no issues. Also no problem with warranty or RTA as it is fitted above the axle and is less noticeable than other versions. Recommended.
