Further to my previous post, on how to disable the ESP system on a jeep, I've tried the advices given by experienced people within this forum.
Holding the EPS button for 7 seconds, shows ESPOFF, but in reality, it still works when in rough condition.
By the way, I have discovered "by chance" how to disable it completely without removing the fuse !
Drive intensively (thanks to marshal rubicon) for one hour and a half, and by getting on & off, the ESP systems overheat (I presume as i don't see any other rational explanation to that), then a yellow alarm light comes on the control panel "ESP BAS"
By reading the owner manual, it shows a malfunction of either the ESP or ABS sytem, which in this case affected the ESP (as i guessed it was too hot), then it completely disable it, till you turn down your engine and it cools down.
So i didn't trun off my engine till the end of the trip, to keep this ESP fully disable, which was much better to drive, but for sure, doing that every trip is not recommended at all, so as advised by my peers previsouly, i'll go straight to install the famous kill switch !
Have a good ride...

Hello,
What car do you have?
The cleanest and easiest solution is to install a 'Kill Switch ' one of the cheapest and most important mods I have on my car.
Search for the purple wire!

Hi guys
do you confirm the famous kill switch looks like that ??? I was more thinking about something nearby the inside control panel , but if it is as the pic above, for sure it's not within the cockpit.
Thanks again for your help.

Nope - doesn't look like the one I had in my old Sahara nor like the one I say Boytjie had in his new JK 2014.

Hi
It doesn't matter what the actual switch looks like as long as whoever is doing the job gets the right wire you can pick anything that looks cool to you, the switch is just a mechanism to disconnect (on/off) the circuitry. You could even use something like this :p

After doing some research, mikouze and I found this write-up on installing a Kill Switch for a KK and I thought we'd put it out here if someone reads this later:

Not too difficult but definitely not as easy as doing this on a JK
