XJ Where is axcactly rusted ares.
if it a chasy then the sand blast can be used and Body panel grinder or wire brush can be used.

I never see any garage in Musafha used sand blasting machines for cleaning.
Some cars are designed to be dress-up..still dressing mine mpenzi@ad4x4.com

I justr did cleanning with a steel brush, becasue if you need to do sand blasting it will not work due to it will damage lots of parts, so I just did cleaning with brush and anti rust.

Hi Khaldoun,

Tobias brought his Wrangler once to one special shop for something located in Mussafah.

I will ask him to post the contact here.

Hey Khaldoun

Sorry, we talked already about it. Yes I get this anti rust coating from a nice shop in mussafah. Al maqda ...something. I have the business card in my office. give me a call tomorrow or I post it day after tomorrow.

I payed 500 Dir and the works are nicely done. lookes like new from underneath.

Old cars need a special treatment if you take them hardly in the sand!!!!

He anyway, you are an Offroader right ?

So i think you can make the sand blasting by yourself, in desert.

Tobias, yes it took about 6 hours ( but only because you where holding them up from working by asking them thousand questions ).

I note that you are in the Northern Emirates.

Sara Autocare in Al Quoz are the agent for Wax-oil. This is a relatively soft coating that will resist knocks and chipping.
They will remove and loose rust, paint, scale etc before applying the coating to both the outside & inside of the chassis rails etc. They also quirt the fuid inside builkheads, door slams etc...a very proffesional service for quite a small outlay. The price depends on the size of the car and the number of cavities thay have to fill.
They also supply another type of coating which is much harder in texture. It is more resiliant to being sand blasted by desert driving but because of it's brittle structure it could be more prone to chipping.
SARA also do spray on dent resistant hard coatings for loading areas, Rino coatings etc. Great for pick ups and load bays where you throw bikes and quads in the back etc.

Talk to the Boss man there...Vivek. He's very knowledgable on the subject and quite an authority on many other aspects of vehicle preperation. 04 3400255. Another guy is Joseph....just a good.

Hope this helps.

Regards.

I don't work for them mate...you'll have to get prices from them.

As posted above...prices depend on the size of the car, condition of the under body to prep before treatment and also how many cavities you want rust proofing.

Regards.
