Welcome to AD4X4. It would be nice if you can introduce yourself to everyone.

These tires are called All Terrain Tires.

You have many choices such as the Yokohama Geolander or the BF Goodrich. Second brand is almost double the price of the first but they are among the best and can be easily found as well

Welcome to the club dude,

Yeah what Diver told you is absolutely right. I am in fact hunting for a set of tires for my Patrol (mainly onroad) and my first choice will be Yokohama Geolanders. I tried them on the Wrangler and they r excellent.

Welcome to the club Dude.

I am also supporting Diver and Khaiwi's comments .... The Yokohama will be better on a 1992 as the car is a bit hard and you don't want hard tires on top of that, the BFG will be a bit hard onroad but will give you a better performance offroad ... The Yokohama will be OK on both

Hey Dude

Good choice to ditch the Patrol and get a Wrangler. I hope you have a good time off road :)
