My ring and pinion setup

Post by surfer »

I wanted to share with you what i had done with my new R&P setup to save some money. I did not want to buy diff locks atleast at this stage, so i have to change the carrier (depends on the vendor, some requires a change for the front and other requires it for the rear), i did some research and found out that the alloy USA R&P does not require a change of carrier for the front dana 30 and the precision gear doesnt not require a carrier change for the rear dana 44.

So i bought alloy usa R&P for the front and precision gear R&P for the rear, this way i did not have to change any of the carrier and it saved me around 500 dhs.

Smart research save some money for our poor friend FearUAE, thats good Surfer keep these INFO for me when I m gonna start that Virus infection

NOTE: How this gonna affect the operation due to the different ratio's & how the 2 DIFFs will take the load distribution & u need to keep in mind the future spare parts if u need like oil gasket & scrapper, Bearing, drive shaft yuke attachments
Life is too Short, nothing to argue about, specially with closed minded

They are both the same ratio, 4.1.

They have to be the same ratio, noway you can have different ratios unless you run different tire sizes which is not recommended.
