Mafi Flus, but want to go for Nightdrives ?

Post by Chuck »

Hi Guys,

if you are a poor Guy 8) and drive an old rusty Cherokee XJ you are already an minority in the Club.

Right now the "Hip" guys are going to do a lot of Nightdrives. Therefore they need additional lights on their cars, but you dont have one yet, right ?

All those nice shiny Wranglers and LandRovers in the Club,.... you also want to participate their trips and pretend to be cool, right again???

Sleepless nights you had to figure out how you can pimp your Cherokee for little money as possible, am i right again ?????

You spend already money hardly separated from your appartments alowance to get your Cherokee running better.

You put some bigger wheels on it ( the cheepest you found on the market) , you lifted it a bit and also your engine has more torque than others 8) .....

But wait.... what do the Hip guys now have what you dont ?

They have additional light, you guess it, ...for NIGHTDRIVES !!!!!

Got 300 Dirhams in your Pocket ?

Ok than, all what you need to be at least a part of the pack is this:

1. An old rusty Cherokee XJ

Image

2. Buy from Morse Shop in Mussafah the RING 4 Lights with each 55 Watts for 150 Dirhams ( after Discount )

Image

3. Drill some holes into the factory delivered bars on the roof ( 0 Dirhams if you borrow the Drilling Machine )

Image

4. Asked one of the electrician Shops in Mussafah to install the with the lights delivered switch

Image

let them install also a Plug near to the drivers door for easy On and Off Installation.
Image

from another view the other side of the plug

Image

and ask them to wire everything to the battery ( total 150 Dirhams )

After all that Stress you will get for 300 Dirhams this

Image

The lights are mounted with two screws with "wings" for instant Installation.

The other guys in the Club will not notice that you spent that little money only to be able to go to desert at night.

They will think, Wow what cool Cherokee that is

Happy Jeepin

I have a cheaper idea chuck ... which I had in my Wrangler earlier on the windshield lights ...

By cheap lights from Mussafah ... Don't know where is the shop - Cost AED 100 a pair 55 watts, buy a 100 watts bulps - Cost AED 10 ... Go to salam street, find one of those Iranian shops to install it to the battery .. Fight with him and pay only AED 100 .. so total cost is AED 210 and you have a pair of 100 watts lights and everybody says wow .. cool, are these Warn, IPF or KC?

But now I have the KC 150 watts

You think what you did is cheap....hahah

I got two PIAA lights from a (source) , Installed them with switches (free), working perfectly. All for an amout of ( 0 dirhams).

The secret: the light from an afghani dealer (freind of a friend) & the installation expert is the iranian shop in sharjah (brother is his kafeel).

Life is cool man......................no free gain, no looking for pain

Guys, guys, guys......

Now i am really disappointed. I was thinking my lights are chaep done. Now i feel cheated!!!!
My budget was 600 Dir.
I get my widshild lights, LED strips and rear light from Salam street 180 Dir
Windshild bracket from Ramy 240 Dir.
Switch from Morse 30 Dir
Wireing in Musafha 150 Dir

Front light are wide angel lights, giving a nice view in around 30 meter.

Image

Oh my god, is my car dirty!!!

Rear light is a little to bright, so i can just use it by reverse driving, but this schould be the sens of it.

Image

The switch top is red lighted if the light is tourned on.

Image

Now the littel fancy accessory! Back glow of the cooling frame.

Image

I know, some of you guys will now think... this will not help you in offroading.... but i like it and surprice, surprice, the corollas and lancers moving over now a bit quicker. Tell me your opinion!

Tobias

PS: By the way Chuck and Kaldoun, we schould take the GPS Waypoint of Morse they are realy nice equippt and i think some other members are working as well at there lights.
