Has anyone saved a list of POI's or Waypoints for the speed camera's in Abu Dhabi / Dubai

I do not think that it work for Dubai cameras !!! since they installing new ones almost every month. Last week they installed 6 station ( with camera) on the road from Ghantoot to Jebel Ali :? !!!! They moving the camera around them so you don't know which one is the real one :roll: it become a very prfitable bussiness this days :twisted:

Get a detector that works.
As rightly said there as not fixed any more

In some countries, e.g. UK, the detectors themselves are illegal. What about here?

It's illeagal here too.
Best is to get the one you can mount on the dash, and quickly unplug it if you are stopped.
I dont know how easy it will be to bring one in.

It's good for hiways, but in the city it goes off every time you drive past a building with automatic doors, as this also uses radar.

i got in three different brands from the states , but they didn't catch the radars, they only work to locate petrol station (because of the sliding doors) :D

The big problem is if the cam is behind you.
By the time it picks it up, it has already flashed you.

I think the GPS idea will work well if we can mark all the points, or possible points.

I guessed the location of the one on 1st street and put it into the GPS, and drove past there yesterday. My guess is accurate. I got the warning just b4 passing the cam.
