Hello everyone,
after going throught the reviews and all on the internet, i've noticed that most of them were talking about how the tiny arb compresser heat up easily when inflating tyres. so i thought of another way and here we go, some else already did it and its awesome. check out how did he use the Bushranger AirMax to fill the ARB lockers.

thats why i will wait for the lockers until u tell me hows the OX lockers feel, btw i might also go for an auto locker like Aussie Locker, nice reviews about them.khaiwi wrote:Nice one Megamoe
This will simply assure my decission to go for non ARB lockers. Many points of failures....
Iguana, is the air leak fixed yet? where was it and what was the reason for the leak?

Leak is fixed Khaiwi, First it was a pipe leak. Then when I took it to Al Jallaf, they tightened the Air Compressor too much so the Compressor Oil Seal got damaged. This was also changed.khaiwi wrote:Nice one Megamoe

Cost:
Pipe AED 70/- from ARB.
Labour Charges AED 400 (Al Jallaf) (Can you Imagine)
Oil Seal: 5 Dirhams from a shop in Madinat Zayed and I fixed it my self
I think the Manual OX is better, you will not face this mechanical faluires.
Now for Megamoe's question.
The Air Locker Compressor is mainly used for the air locker only and could be used in emergency to inflate your tyres. If you noticed, whenever I use my air compressor either the compressor over heats after the 3rd wheel or the air hose get busted because of the heat. This is why I now use seperate compressor to inflate.
This is mainly happening because of 2 reasons. 1st is that the compressor is too small. 2nd is that yoy are putting the compressor on pressure all the time when the lockers are on. so by the time you are out. The compressor is hot already.
I prefer if you are going to install ARB air lockers is to have 2 seperate compressors one for the lockers and one for inflation as you don't want your lockers compressor to fail.

Why should we complicate things???? and if one of the components fails then u lose air source you end up without lockers and cant inflate tires
Generally speaking I personally prefer specialisation. Examples: a phone is not a camera or webcam, and no I dont like the three in one concept of scanner copier and printer. (may be am old fashion brain but remember that am an old man too)
In other words, once I decide on onboard air, I go for full fledge solution with proper setup. If I need lockers I think lockers not fancy switches on the dashboard etc. I like to be focused.

100% agree on the old fashion ideas. I am the same. Thats why I said if you are installing ARB Air Lockers then keep the ARB compressor for it and buy another one for inflation of tyres. Don't install the 2 in one thing.
Manual lockers (I think) will be easy and reliable. When my lockers started leaking, it took me one week to find out the problem and a lot of money to fix it.
So I am with Khaiwi's suggestion. Get the OX
