ARTEC JK Front Diff. Reinforcement Exclusive Offer to AD4x4

Post by RAMY4x4 »

ARTEC INDUSTRIES JK DANA 30 Reinforcement Package:

It is a pleasure to serve our clients and more specifically our fellow members of AD4x4 Club. We constantly hear complaints about bending front axles on the Jeep JKs and very few solutions available in our market. Thank you to AD4x4 and its members, we have decided to get a new reinforcement system into this market. The source has been mainly chosen by the AD4x4 members we consult on daily basis to improve our knowledge and services.

The offer:
Website Link: http://artecindustries.com/JK-Front-Axl ... p_309.html
Retail: AED 1,305
AD4x4 Special: AED 1,045
We can only get this shipped to Dubai if we get a minimum request for 5 pcs
Payment Terms: 50% down payment for booking. 50% upon receipt of goods
Installation: We strongly recommend Princess Cars in Abu Dhabi or Ramy In Dubai

Thank you all for,
Ramy 4x4 Team

A question from my side as not had axle reinforced so no doubt it is bent. How to check if it is bent and if it is , can we get this to avoid further damage?
Focus on the future, that's where your life is going. Focus on the past and you will go nowhere.

Should be fine if its not very bend... go to tire shop, check castor readings to know the bending of yours.

You cant stick inner sleeves in for the axle as it wont go in. But im almost sure you can weld the truss on.

Main damage starts with yous C's ... they are damn soft. So if you have it not very bend, id put this on.

P.S. Maybe Ossme, SSS, Chief can provide more info. Also if you are unsure you can e-mail Artec guys to answer this question.

its camber which you need to check for bent axles (either inner C ... or tubes ... or just ball joints )

(caster is for turning axle of the wheel/ball joints ... to be corrected with cam bolts or adjustable control arms with higher suspension lifts)

and yes ... this weld on truss is more tolarant to slightly pre bent axles than inner sleeves! needs to be decided on case by case.

But Guys, let the workshop check if your front axle with the truss is not hitting anything with full compression (without coil springs!) ... the shop might need to add hard bump stop extensions!!!!

Oh .. and thanks Mano for listening to the demand and bringing cool stuff for reasonable prices over here!

And you might want to check with Metalcloak for their new JK/TJ suspension components ... really good stuff! ( well... the 6paks are expensive but innovative... and their arms and joints are superb ... and their coils stay seated with the 6pak travel)

THIS "But Guys, let the workshop check if your front axle with the truss is not hitting anything with full compression (without coil springs!) ... the shop might need to add hard bump stop extensions!!!!"

means the following

1. in some cases I recommend this truss: e.g. with suspension lifts where the already mounted bump stop extensions "cover" for the truss' potential to hit something under compression.

2. in some other cases you might loose precious uptravel capabilities of your suspension:
e.g. if you have stock suspension and stock bump stops ... the truss needs eventually bump stop extensions ... how much?
(still ... has to be verified!!! but my guts feeling)

but as for quality and purpose and price: it is great!

Hi Marwan and anyone else who can answer these questions (Yes Chafiq, I'm looking at you :P) ,

First of all, thank you for your continuous efforts in providing our community with great offers and probably even more importantly excellent & friendly service :)

My questions:

1) This kit doesn't come with an inner sleeve right ? Do we even need an inner sleeve with it and if so do you have an inner sleeve to compliment this kit?

2) I have the teraflex 2.5" with the bump stop extensions they provide, will I be ok with that?

I assume that for the guys with lifts you'll be getting the Factory Height Brackets and for the guys with lifts the Raised Height Brackets?

no need for inner sleeves here ... inner sleeves are the cheapo version ... and not as strong as an outer truss!
if you want to add them, fine (since you are welding to the tubes anyway) ... but you might discover that they do not slide in if you do not have a brand new housing ... do you want that? lol
(but if you do have a brand new housing they might protect your tubes from warping while welding the truss on  )

According to serge according to Artec they supposed to work with a stock JK suspension :? ... so in theory with added bump stops (regardless of ride height/lift!) it should even work "better" ... lol ;)

what brackets are you talking about? the axle side control arm brackets? no change ... the truss is designed AROUND them!!! (would be more hassle and not necessarily cool otherwise!)

If Chafik confirms that this works for me without having to chuck my existing setup, I would like one too.

I have a Mopar lift and the inner and outer reinforcement plus C gussets from Ranger.

I can drop the money with Anosh subject to Chafik's advice.

Dr. Tariq ... do you want a written warranty from me? I am honored ... but you should listen to your VENDOR instead of me ... if he says it works, then it should (or he makes it work ... worst case the truss needs some grinding at some places) ;)

EDIT : just noticed that red part ... so you have the Rock Slide Engineering Bomb Shell kit? Are you sure they did the outer reinforcement as well? (split outer tube welded on?)
If yes You DO NOT NEED MORE ! (and this truss would not fit any way bc of the existing outer reinforcement)
