Dear Webmaster

Post by tillybean »

Mishmumkin and I are both having trouble getting onto the site sometimes.

I can access it from work, but struggle at home. Mishmumkin can access it from home, but not from work.

We seem to be able to log in and then when we try to go to a page, we are asked to log in again, even though we clearly show in the registered users section at the bottom of the page.

For example, I am logged in from work with no problems at the moment, but Mishmumkin cannot get on, but the status read :
Registered users: chafik, mishmumkin, Sean, tillybean

We have tried clearing cookies, history etc etc and this doesnt make any difference.

Can you please help. :D

Thank you.

Tillybean and Mishmumkin

to fix the problem, you have to delete the cookies. you say you have tried to delete the cookies but deleting the cookies while you are viewing ad4x4.com will delete all cookies except ad4x4.com cookies. you have to delete it while viewing google.com for example. Try this and let me know if you still have any problems :)

Maybe you can download and run a program like http://www.ccleaner.com/ it will do all the cleaning for all browsers, then it should work.

If the access is blocked from work, it might also be the IT guys saying No to visiting this website

Hi Mike

I am fine at work, but cant get onto it from home. I didnt have any problems, but then got a new computer (Apple Mac) and now have a lot of trouble.

Mishmumkin used to be able to access it from work, but now cannot. But another friend of ours who is a member of the club works in the same place as Mishmumkin and she can get onto it, so its not been blocked by their IT......they wouldnt dare !

Anyway, will advise Mishmumkin to download that software and to try everything and see what happens.

Thanks again to you and Antrax.

I too had that problem, for a month or more couldnt get on from work or home, same issues described, can now get on from work and not home? did the cookie thing to no avail, now works on work computer fine, strange...randomly played around with popup blockers and some filters and it came right, unfortunaltey I'm not IT minded so dont know if that was just coinscidence or not.....1 from 2 is better than 0 from 2...2 from 2 would be better still, good luck...Thanks admin for your assistance and suggestions throughout...now wont miss the trips...
Stay Safe..

Had same issue only with my "Vista" box, not XP or 7. The cookie delete did the trick. :D
