Guys this is strange,
the website is signing me out automatically whenever I try to post a reply or quote or even choose another forum or page.
I thought in the beginning that this is only in my account, but it seems nearly everyone has this problem.
So has anyone figured out why??
Antrax I think your help is needed here.

I feel the same, especially when you are more reading than writing and adding posts. And, yes, I always tick the "sign me in automatically each time I visit" box.

yes, this is a general problem... Maybe the site is Labour Law compliant and try to tell us we have to spend less time on the web site during Ramadan and more with family?

I have the same problem !
The only way to stay logged in seems to be ticking the "remember me" box while logging in.

Re: Automatic Sign Out????
we have been experiencing this problem for a couple of month now. i have checked and double checked the website several times. every thing is running smoothly.
what makes me wonder is that i never faced this problem with my 3G Internet connection at the office, however i seem to have it at home with the al shamil Internet. comments any one?

Yes Hani, I think you are right. It doesn't disconnect if you try it from a Blackberry, no idea why.anTrax wrote:we have been experiencing this problem for a couple of month now. i have checked and double checked the website several times. every thing is running smoothly.

But the point is that the PC should be saving a cookie for entry, and I never had this problem before, until 3 days back.

Re: Automatic Sign Out????
the website does store a cookie on your browser when you login and there are no problems there
now lets assume this scenario:
3g network: brand new with low traffic = no delay and timeouts
business one: has higher priority than al shamil but still has a significant number of subscribers
al shamil: high number of user and i'm experiencing tones of delays recently
now if you experience a service timeout for a long time the website would think that you have closed your web browser and ends your session therefore asks you to login again
it makes sense the remember password feature solves the problem in most cases
it also makes sense that i have never experienced this problem with my 3g connection i'm using in the office.
all that being said, its nothing more than a conclusion with out any logical facts. our friends at etisalat could perhaps comment on the situation
