Cleaning up AD4x4 Data Base

All of you must have noted that there are so many non-active members in AD4x4 Data Base. We have more than 1030 members. However, the active members are around 650 (As per our records). Therefore, we have decided the following:

- The membership of any new member will be kept active for 6 months and then be deleted if not active.
- Members are considered active if they joined at least one trip and posted at least one post on the forum.
- Some of the members families are joining AD4x4 to communicate with their families through the website or to view their pictures and be updated with our trips. In this case, please send me a PM with the nicknames so I will not delete them or ask your family member to introduce himself to the club members at least we will know who is this member.
- The non active accounts will be only deleted and an E-Mail will be sent to the deleted account holder. In case he is still interested in AD4x4 membership, he / she can re-join again using the same previously deleted nickname and password.

We will try to maintain the same level of 1000+ members. therefore, the non-active accounts will be deleted gradually.

thats a good idea, a good clean out may be good for the site, and help with the little problems it occurs every now and then.

are you also going to clean up the old post etc?

so the count will start again???
