Problem with unlocking the maps for 276c

Hello guyz
iam facing aproblem in unlocking the map on my 276c garmin
just bought it 2 days ago and when ever i enter the 8 digit copon code it says that this lock code in consumed and iam sure the cd of the maps is new .. what shall i do guyz

is there a way i can get a new 8 digit code or i should return to the dealer to tell him what happened .. did anyone face this problem before ?

take it to the dealer and ask them to do it for you and give you the registration information, the registration code might've been hacked or generated.

so ill take it to AMIT
and gave him the registration info that i entered in garmin

and he will do it ?:)

I have heard about this before

The license is always valid for two GPS maps, sometimes they sell one and the guys just uses up both of them

But Mo is right, just go to him and complain

i had same problem and went on to garmin site and did it that way, it is the same kind of wizard but on there site you dont get the problem

try it one more time later. maybe the site is down or the refresh rate of the site is very slow. my friend got that problem before. he tried it again the day after and it worked.

went to garmin and followed the link to unlock maps same sort of wizard entered the 8 digits 20 secs later had the 25 digit code to unlock you will also get the code sent to your e-mail address as well.

I definately had the same problem when I did it thru mapsource.
