Re: Did you get used to the new website?
We should have a quick link on the home page for active and recent forum topics as we used to have on our old website. Right now one has to actually scout the forum to see in anyone has posted.

Re: Did you get used to the new website?
What I have noticed and remember right now are:
- I thought that the old website learning curve for new members was not user friendly (not easy and quick).
- The new site seems to be as cryptic as the old one except it is more decorated with some improvements compared to the old.
- Right now to find something needs a lot of searching to find what is needed (Francis' comments are right).
The ultimate aim should be ease of use and a single click (as much as possible) should get me where I need to reach on the website.
I (we) all understand that it will take a while to optimise the website, If no one mentions any weaknesses they notice, then the improvements and the corrections to the website cannot be completed and would take much longer than necessary.
Another meeting (like Saturday 15th) would be very useful to discuss the problems.
I will comment on errors or lack of information I notice or noticed when I get a little more time.

I would also appreciate it if you can share the flow of your first visit. What information did you expect to find in front of you and where did you want to go.

Re: Did you get used to the new website?
Hi,
hope this is the right forum for that.
I just noticed that when im checking the trip section on my phone (Samsung S7) i can see only limited number of trip announcements, whereas when logged in on my mac, i can see more events.
e.g. todays advance and next weeks lead and sweep is only visible to me on my mac.
( missed todays advance trip )
TIA

This is because of your phone security settings logging you out. I’m working on fixing this problem but till then please click on “remember me” when you log in and you won’t have this problem.
