No Google Ads?

Hello,
I noticed that the website has no google ads at all?! Please do pardon my complete newbie behaviour here.
Not display google ads could very well be on purpose. But with the number of page views this site receives on an average, running a few google ads will completely cover all website related expenses. And may even leave some change behind.
Apologies if this is an already discussed topic, and if it's a policy decision not to display google ads.
