Website color theme - hurting eyes after sometime!

I am facing this all the time now, may be my display! But Website color theme is hurting my eyes after sometime! (10 mintues or so), is it the same with you? Cannot we switch to the white-based background?!

From a H&S view point if you are having eye strain from the website colouring, i suggest you get your eyes checked for health reasons.

personally, i would also prefer a lighter background..... but that's just conventional old me!

Hey, if you use an ipad,
You can use this "white on black" feature,
Just press the home button thrice

guys, this is a sign that you spend too many hours a day staring at this webpage....you are addicted .... don't visit the site that often and your eyes will be fine....

I tried many things in the last 2 yrs to solve this problem, but no hope.
