it's official, since this morning, i'm the lucky owner of a WJ Grand Cherokee 2004 Overland navy blue... The car is stock, will be delivered tomorrow home and is in surprisingly good condition (thanks to the british previous owner)

reminders:
- V8 4.7l engine high output = 265HP
- weight: 1826kg
- wheel base / length: 2690 / 4605
- approach / departure / ramp angle: 36.7 / 28.6 / 22.6 deg.

to be done:
- bring it to Kermit for a check! engine oil change and transfer case oil to maker sure proper friction modifier is added for Quadra drive
- replace hood props (the only fault found so far on the car. )
- Go to Ramy for lift kit Lovells 2", CAI, rims, tyres, led lights... Exhaust?
- order a few stuff from internet (skid plate, tow bar)
- install electronic inside : GPS, Marshal Radio, Sound system...

and we are done!

then DRIVE!!!!

pictures soon...

Note: if you need to export a car back from dubai and do not want to do it yourself, i really recommend to use Midland car!!!

oh yes very powerfull!!! i had the first drive alone this morning, and i have to admit that 265hp for a 1800kg car is really good... and the V8 torque is surprising!!!

Car will be dropped to WM sunday for full fluid replacement and check... then will go to mods...

order to 4WD or Quadratec under finalization...

the new xof mobile is with WM since a few days... Some relief with regards to transmission and transer case which is ok, but some expenses to be made nevertheless (all gaskets, bump stop, etc)... All in all, very reasonnable to get a proper base for modification...

next step saturday, out of WM clinic, and straight to Ramy laboratory... :D

so, car went out from WM with some minor fixes, more due to time than real problem. And i took the car to Muscat to make sure it would survive to endurance test...

so far so good! Except maybe the lousy AC, but it's a jeep and we reached 43degrees...

programm for the week, sharja tire shop, and Ramy for lift kit.

and new radio. ;)

Lift kit appointment taken for saturday...

btw, i paid 375AED per tyre... :D

i did not get the "inevitable repairs" :?: :?: :?:
