Project Overlander

This thread was started to track the progress of my 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
UPDATED ON 10/1/2013
After a very long search, I was able to secure a low milage 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
As you can see, it got 6 speeds manual transmission, it is black, and it is stock.
Unlike RB, This truck will be designed to be an overland Vehicle. The longer Jeep got much needed cargo space and is smoother both on and offroad. But it is not going to be the ultimate off road truck like what RB used to be.
Current Planned Modes:
1- AEV highline
2- 2.5" lift
3- Front and Rear Dana 44 with 4.88 gears and lockers.
4- stock engine
5- 17" wheels with All terrain tires.
6- Tire Carrier and basic lights.
Future Plans:
(to be updated later)
Things will start slow as we are in Mid-season and will accelerate in the summer. The main goal is not to miss as few weekend trips as possible.
Sadly, this also means that RB is officially dead!
