Project Scorpion II started

Post by MegaMoe »

Soo here we go again

Since my very first jeep was Scorpion so i thought i would continue the legacy with scorpion II
its a Black limited 2003 Jeep Liberty KJ (boring shopping car), hopefully with the right mods it will end up like the pictures.

So the initial list of mods are as below:

- 1.5" OME lift kit. (done)
- 2" Daystar spacers. (Ordered)
- Black GT Wheels. (Ordered)
- 32s MT Tires (yet to decide on the brand)
- ARB Snorkel.
- K&N filter.
- ARB 4.56 r&p and lockers

so lets see how it goes

The car looks very cool, but if the tiers are big it will not effect the Differential.

cooool!

but 1.5" OME lift PLUS(!) 2" spacers? will become challenging with the independent front suspension :ugeek:
(is it possible to do a 1"-1.5" bodylift instead of the 2" spacers on that Jeep? would leave suspension angles in a sane range and still provide enough clearance for those 32"s!)

Good Luck Moe
Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.

thx guys

just an update:

the libbys are a bit different than the wranglers -obivously- so i had to order for upper control arms and high angle cv shafts by jeepinbyall, the total lift of the car will be 4.5" and with the 33" tires i got around 7" over the normal liberty. so not bad  will be posting some pics later on tonight. and yeah i had to cut the bumpers to accomodate the new tyres

below is another update on the intial list:

So the initial list of mods are as below:

- 2" OME lift kit. (installed)
- 2.5" Daystar spacers. (installed)
- Black GT Wheels. (installed)
- cutsom light bar (installed)
- kumho 33s MT Tires (installed)
- bumpers trimming (ongoing)
- longer upper control arms by JBA (ordered)
- CV shafts by JBA (ordered)
- ARB Snorkel. (yet to order)
- K&N filter. (yet to order)
- ARB 4.56 r&p and lockers by alloy USA (yet to order)
- stickers (never ending)
