i have two words for you chief: Extreme Performance... but not cheap.

actually, i think that V8 swap is not cheap, cause either you pay big money straight with a reputed workshop used to do it, or you go economic first, with so many additional later that it will cost more.

Yes this One Sounds good as well.
The longterm idea Might be a dual muffler setup ( 2 magnaflows )
And sitepipes ala g55 on both sides. This Would guarantee decent sound
AND excellent airflow. But this is a longterm idea...

Maybe i get Sommething custommade for registration only. Because i really like
That awesome Sound :-D

... it managed to get in, to get hot and to vet out again...

Malte, you are a real engineer. Out of some wires and switches you built a ECU bypass for the cooling fan on the spot. Respect!

I loved the roaring of your monster Malte, and was waiting for you on Sunday morning to join our Advanced trip and do the real test.

Anyway it was nice to have you around.

Cheers,

Cheers,
Thx Chief it was also nice on the 31st - too bad i had to head out to the catch road due to my non-working fan.
On the first i headed out with Tawalbehs advanced group later on this was also a lot of fun - and the beast didn't let me down. Except i was nearly up on the tal moreeb on the sideway, when i recognized i was in 2wd only   . I think before you started i felt asleep because of the short night (someone took my sleeping bag & mattres ....) for one hour somewhere near the camp in the sand - it might be that you left during my sleep then... :/ Anyway will be happy if we can redo the test  .

Thx Jo. Hehe yes this car is training me being patience a lot.
You should have seen me abusing an usb cable on the catch road to bridge the fan to the battery - that was real IT engineering :-) ...

Now that the car is almost running, i open a new category :

Lost & Found

Lost :
D44 rear differential (on the way home from liwa) and it left a lot of oil on the back of my car :(

Found :
Trucklite Front replacement headlights (wow these are really nice!)
New rims ( 17x9 chrome - no name ) - but urgently needed as all stock rims where bended pretty badly.

You had a broken axle or a broken ring and Pinion ? :?

First i lost the inner bearing, this made the pinion move freely, which led to a broken ring & pinion.
Now i'm searching for a replacement axle - most probably either a 9,75 Ford or a Dana 60 ...

Somehow it was planned already to replace it - but i thought after the front axle ... :S
and without a hurry ...whatever ;-)
