Plan changed.
I've spent very long time looking for a matching rear diff for my XJ therefore, I'll swap a Patrol Drive line to the XJ.
actually , I have almost all the nissan parts therefore, cost wise ill go for the nissan parts swap.SSS wrote:Why not putting a Ford 8.8 from a 95-01 Explorer? Super strong and lots of aftermarket support!
Done sooooo many times in the jeep world ... and with your rear leaf springs quite uncomplicated !

The A/C compressor is a universal one with custom brackets , the alternator bracket is custom made as well.SSS wrote:I wish you good luck, wallah!
I hope the axle widths fit ... and the bracketry is available and of high quality ... you might be spending too much trying to solve all the nasty details properly
You could help me with one question, please:
Where did you get your A/C and Alternator relocation brackets from???
(The Novak and kwik performance ones are quite expensive as a complete set but I can see you are using a sanden type A/C compressor ... so it is a kwik fake???)
