uhhmmm ... we HAVE that corner ... ad4x4
Hey ... the best thing about your LQ9 is : it has some more ponies for your fullsize Jeep ... the ONLY 4 door convertible 4x4 out there.
(Hey with a LQ9 ... the unlimited becomes attractive again ... the second hand prices were dropping below the normal JKs ... only because of the sucky power/weight ratio!)

ahm i'm getting a LS3 / L92 ... 6.2l not a Lq9 - 6.0 ... it's a Gen4 engine not Gen3  ...
And then still the only with a 6-speed tiptronic 6L80e ... yes! with that engine indeed, this is the engine the should have from the start :D .

Actually I'm also very excited about the gearbox - this alone will make a huge difference.

:hahi:

guys ... I am trying to phase out the costs by ordering the needed parts in batches ... after I spent some money on my donor vehicle.
so ... so god will (inshallah) I will have all needed parts and tuned my GM pcm myself(!) , maybe even dismantled the donor and modded the harness by end of december ... and THEN (and only then) I will hand over the jeep and the donor to 7p to do a concentrated "mounting" only job! The plan is to have my TJ with V8 running in January after a max 2 weeks clinic surgery by 7p.

I am still unsure about the front brakes : either vanco 15" kit or centric premium rotors + blackmagic pads ... I have some yellowstuff pads which I might try with new rotors first, since my front brakes will soon need maintenace anyway.
