Marlboro Dune

Guys.. there is a greeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat dune called Marlboro Dune (I couldn't find this name in any map, google, or any other place, but we just got it from a friend). The place is wonderful for camping and for intermediate - advanced trips.

You may need to visit it one day if you haven't yet.

This is the BigRed dune and the area with the points and lines is Al Madam. Thats exactly where I took the guys last Friday after exiting from Al Shwaib.

Nothing undiscovered yet, thats a known area just behind area 53.

Hi Wassim,

No it was not us, actually what am refering to was a late afternoon, just before sunset when we exited Shwib headed to the petrol station "half inflated" and headed towards Madam R/A, but due to lack of time for a long drive, we decided to enter the dunes on our lft side (MADAM) almost half way before Madam R/A and exited next to area 53.

I have checked your website and after going through the google pics u uploaded, it seems Marlboro Dune is other than what I was mentioning earlier on this thread.

we have some people who did all types of offroading, night driving, camping, etc.. and they said it's a most wonderful trip for them.
