This is a shout out to any AD4x4 Member who owns a Jeep WK2 Grand Cherokee and drives (or intends to) offroad with it. I am planning to organise a WK2 exploration trip into the Northern Emirates this season which will take in all types of terrain - Sand, Wadi and Mountains. The trip(s) will be exploratory in nature and include overnight camping. The trip(s) will be tailored to the capabilities of the WK2 and should be a lot of fun. Suitable for families, nature lovers, walkers, photographers and BBQ lovers, lets join together to enjoy the UAE in our comfortable, quiet and capable SUV!

For now, can you please add your Club ID/ Names, Grade (how many stars?), mobile number and WK2 model, and if you have modified it at all. Post a picture too, to help the ID!

1. Phoenix Rising *****, 0544885882, WK2 Limited V8, Cooper AT3 Tyres and Chief Products front end protection/skid plate.
Hope to get a good level of interest to plan the trip and get it in the calendar!

What have you done to mount your flag?
Also, is that the chief products bumper on your WK2? Where did you get it?

Hi Karam,

Sorry for delay in replying. I have fabricated a bracket which attaches to my roof rails, and the flag pole attaches to the bracket. I see yours has the rails, which is unusual for a Laredo. Iwill take a couple of pictures later but is is similar in principle to the way in which a roof rack foot would hold on.

Hi Chris,

I fabricated a bracket which attaches to the roof rails. I am selling my GC at the moment hence have no need for the bracket anymore, I can let you have it if you want it.

Secondly, the Chief Products lower front guard and the sump guard I bought from an import company called Red Orange in Dubai. The two kits cost over AED 5300 but as I said I am selling the GC hence the kit is available. I was looking for about AED 2000? Let me know if you are interested?
