I have a lifted JK wrangler with steel bumpers in Abu Dhabi. I heard it won't pass safety inspection. Where can I take it to pass, or to maybe swap out the bumpers for stock ones just so I can pass?

tell them its not a daily use car. just for offroading. i passed mine with out center console and no airbags

Do the following:
Go the safety test if it will not pass , take the document to esma ( www.esma.gov.ae )
They will register all the modifications.
And you can go back to the safety test .

Go to Yas Marina Circut; they're the only official modified cars/motorcycles center currently operating in Abu Dhabi, u can get everything approved from there.

Did anybody try this process with seriously modified 4x4 and got the registration accordingly?

I heard it's not open for business yet.

ESMA is there also in yas marina circuit as part of the inspection center; my friend passed highly modified car there, the cost is 400 dhs and yes its open.
