I am in the process of planning a 9day road trip from San Francisco, through Yosemite, Death Valley, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon and back to LA via Bakersfield in July this year. We will be going in an RV and I will greatly appreciate some advice from members that have done something similar with an RV before.

I'll keep all my questions for later....... We can discuss here or I will buy you a coffee/shisha for the consultation.

Thom,

I've done the coast thing from Seattle down and it's a great trek. Redwoods are awesome, San Jose for surfing, I think your missing out if you don't go futher north than you suggest. Anyway, we can chat.

Gas with a motor home is going to kill you slowly. :)

Lol

Yep, I gathered that. I'm expecting 10Mpg, so approx $500 for fuel. Ouch.

I will call you at some stage to have a chat. It would be great to have "local" input on possible alternatives.
