As I'm off to Ruwais for 3 weeks from tomorrow , the answer is.......
6.2 L Cadillac V8 in an H3 pushing out 440BHP 8O , conversion done by Liberty Motorsports. Interior refinished in leather/suade and Ralph Lauren checked fabric inserts. Exterior; colour coded bumpers and front grille, best of all no chrome except the 18" wheels running 35" M/T tires.
It looks the biz, sorry no more photo's forgot my camera that day .
Word on the street is the production V8 H3's will be on sale in the US october this year though likely to be fitted with the 5.3 L motor with "only" about 300 HP.

WOW but how about fuel consumption on beast like that
Ruwais is fine man. I used to work there years ago and I think they have a new Hotel with a nice beach.

Fuel consumption will not be an issue in my opinion as it will be a bigger engine that does not have to work as hard as the current I5 3.5L. Probably coupled up with the DOD system whereby the engine runs with 4 of its cylinders shut down while cruising it shouldn't return any worse than say a Chevy Tahoe/GMC Yukon. And lets face it petrol is cheap here compared to the UK, try 30Dhs a gallon for size 8OMpenzi wrote:WOW but how about fuel consumption on beast like that

Anyways H3 + V8 =
As regards Ruwais, unfortunately I will not be staying at the new Danat resort in Jebel Dhana, more like a "portacabin" in the labour camp area
