Of course, in that context, the girls were talking about whether bigger is better
As far as I am concerned, I like the Hummer as it strikes a nice balance betweem comfort, luxury and what seems to be good off roading capability so far. When the V8 comes out, then it will be real fun

Mozi,
Being a Land Rover fan it pains me to do this but.......... the H3 does seem rather good off-road. As you mention it also seems a nice balance of several different attributes. It's not what I would look for in a car but I do see why people do go for them.
Interesting saying!!WildFire wrote:We have a saying in UAE ( el la7am fi eilthoor wel sam fi el 3aqrab)
Translation : the Bull has the meat while the poison is in the scorbion
explenation : The Bull is big and looks powerfull but, thats only bone, fat and flesh ( harmless)... while the scorbion is small in size but DEADLY . ( size dosent matter )
Have you ever seen a bull that was annoyed....... When a bull escaped from an abbatoir in a town near where my home in the UK is the police had to use a specialist weapon, designed and normally used for disabling vehicles by cracking the engine block 8O to stop it as a normal hand-gun would have just got it upset......... I.e., a bull isn't always 'only bone, fat and flesh ( harmless)'.
Presume 'just' as in since the 22nd Feb?? I wish I could get stuff done at garages that quickly here!desertfalc0n wrote:These guys have just modified their cars, but I have seen them do stuff without the modifications..
It's interesting how your views are completely opposite to what we've witnessed here.desertfalc0n wrote:but I have seen them do stuff without the modifications.. And beleive me no H3 (stock or modified) can do the same.
The Wrangler which didn't fare too well on our last trip is coming again this Friday. As mentioned the driver is keen & experienced so I think we can discount 'operator-error' as the cause for its woeful performance the other day. I'll let you know how he fares this Friday, wether good, bad or indifferent. I dont / wont / wouldn't have either a Jeep or Hummer so dont care which one 'wins'.

Thanks for the info JustforFun, I know what stock means...
It's just occurred to me that on that criteria my 90, 127, Discovery & Freelander (110 preperation was contracted-out by LR) can be classed as 100% stock, that could make for an interesting 'which is better' debate 8O
